In May 2009 Bray Coastcare Group were overwhelmed to receive the Bray and District Chamber of Commerce Civic and Community Endeavour Award for 2009.

In November 2008 the current Chairman and founder of Bray Coastcare Group Séamus Connor won first place in the Environment Section of the National Volunteering Awards and was one of the very privileged winners to have the special honour of meeting our very own President Mary McAleese in Aras an Uachtarain in January 2009.

In September 2008 Bray Coastcare Group won a Wicklow People of the Year Award for 2008.

In June 2008 the group won the An Taisce; Coastcare Group of the Year out of the then 75 Coastcare Groups nationwide and were presented with their award by Minister for the Environment John Gormely.
